Great Websites for Badges

Assistant Scoutmaster Ralph Stupple wanted to pass along a very helpful website (that I have never seen before) regarding the overall scouting program, including advancement and merit badges.

The requirements for all rank levels and merit badges are spelled out in great detail AND there are often printable worksheets for each for the scout to use to monitor his progress.

The details at this site appear to be better than http://www.meritbadge.com in my opinion.

Many thanks to Mr. Stupple for this great troop resource!

Mr. Stupple will also lead a brief demonstration on CPR tomorrow night for the purpose of understanding when & how to utilize CPR in any first aid scenario, particularly as it relates to climbing (for climbing merit badge).

By the way, today we had a very successful day of rifle shooting at Camp Bullowa! There was a very strong turnout with 15 scouts shooting nearly 7000 rounds of ammo!!!

See you tomorrow tonight @ 6:30pm at the Tuckahoe Community Center & don’t forget your Communications merit badge assignment, Scout Handbook and your uniform!
